Transformational Leadership

Transformational Leadership Institute is an eighteen (18) month leadership training program focused on action-oriented change management within the equal justice community. The Institute will train emerging leaders on transformational leadership and support them in implementing an initiative focused on creating sustainable change in public defense, civil legal aid and/or the directly impacted client community. Each emerging leader will focus on one of the three areas:

· Strategic Advocacy
· Community Partnerships and Collaboration
· Race + Social Dominance

The transformational leaders were selected from the NLADA civil, defender and client community and have a proven track record of being an emerging leader. Through the institute, they will learn new leadership skills and implement a scalable justice reform concept in their communities.
